Aussie Haircare Fashion Show

This week, I worked on a wonderful event for Aussie Haircare. They were launching their larger sized bottles and held a special event to celebrate it! It was held at a great venue, The Future Gallery, in the West End. The venue was packed full of bloggers, who were treated to champagne & glittery cupcakes whilst they waited for the show to start.

We had a fabulous team on-board, who were such a joy to work with! Working on make-up with me was the fantastic Carlo Di Caterino. We’d worked with each other before so it was great to get to work together again. On hair, Josh Rees Hole & Tiffany Burgin created stunning looks on all the models. For styling, Rachel Gold & Michelle Nelson took care of styling our models in lovely clothes from Mink Pink and Evil Twin.

In terms of make-up, we wanted to keep our models looking fresh and youthful to complement the clothes. We created a really natural “beachy” look, with really fresh skin and soft peach on the cheeky. The favoured blush of the day was “Neon Rose” by Topshop, which creates a really lovely glow. It’s a cream blush, which always it best to create a fresh look on the skin.

We added peach & golden tones to the eyes with lashings and lashings of mascara! I like to use MAC’s Zoomlash on my client’s lashes. On lips, we used a Max Factor coral tone lip stick.
Beside our models, we also had to prepare a competition winner to walk the runway. The winner was the very beautiful, blogger Reena Rai and I gave her a similar look to our models but just made her look a little extra special!

It was a great day to be involved with and an absolutely fab team! Big thanks to Aussie and Freelance the Workspace having us!
