I have been slightly neglectful of my blog lately so I thought the best way to start 2013 was by looking at some AMAZING make-up seen at last week’s Corture shows.
Couture is all about the fantasy and glamour of fashion, where designers really get to create their wildest, creative concepts. This is also reflected in the hair and make-up, where some of the most beautiful and imaginative looks are displayed.
One of my favourite looks was Wednesday’s Dior show. The make-up was lead by one of my make-up idols, the genius Pat McGrath. She created a stunning look of fresh skin with a slight definition in the eye socket. Then the eyes were finished with a flick on the upper lashes.

The lips were seen in reds & pinks and topped with Swarovski crystals. Pat used similar crystals on model’s eyes at the SS13 Dior shows. I liked how this connected the shows together.

Another show make-up I adored was the stunning look at the Chanel show. Peter Philips created a gorgeous, romantic look using fabrics on the eyes, that he is so famous for. I just love how dramatic the make-up is but still remains pretty and femimine.

Another look that I loved was at the Versace show. Pat McGrath created another amazing look. The eyes were really dark with a neon flick, creating a really striking look. The cheeks were bronzed to complete for a super glam & sexy finish.
